Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties are working to finalize a regional hazard mitigation plan covering the three-county area. The BRAG Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies local policies and actions intended to reduce risk and future losses from natural hazards.
The plan addresses concerns regarding various natural hazards. Identified risks include floods, wildfires, drought, severe weather, and landslides. The plan also covers avalanches and dam failures.
The regional hazard mitigation plan is being developed in coordination with participating municipal jurisdictions.
