The West Jordan City Council has scheduled a meeting for Sept. 22, 2026, according to a Sept. 18 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at 8000 S Redwood Road, 3rd Floor.
The agenda for the upcoming session includes a swearing-in ceremony for the West Jordan Youth Council. Additionally, the council will hold public hearings regarding Ordinance No. 26-34, which seeks to adopt the Station Area Plans for the Jordan Valley Station and Sugar Factory Road Station.
Other items on the agenda involve consent items such as approving meeting minutes from Sept. 8, 2026, and discussing Ordinance No. 26-48, which proposes amendments to the city code regarding the definition of a 'Municipal Office Candidate' and campaign contribution disclosures. The council will also consider Resolution No. 26-042 to authorize the mayor to execute grant agreements with UDOT and Gardner-Plum, L.C. for improvements on 6700 and 6800 West Road.
Following the conclusion of the City Council meeting, the Council is scheduled to convene as the Redevelopment Agency. Residents can attend the meeting in person or virtually, and meeting materials are available through the West Jordan city website.
