The Marriott-Slaterville City Council scheduled a regular meeting for Thursday, August 20, 2026, according to a notice published August 11. The meeting was set to begin at 6:00 P.M. at the Municipal Complex located at 1570 West 400 North.
The agenda for the meeting included a presentation regarding solid waste collection and disposal. Council members were scheduled to discuss and take action on an ordinance amending transportation devices.
Additionally, the council was set to discuss a resolution recognizing the 100 year anniversary of the Veterans’ of Foreign Wars (VFW). Other agenda items included discussing and acting on resolutions to amend an interlocal agreement with Weber County for the 1700 South/1200 West Road Project and adopting an interlocal agreement with Weber County for survey services.
The meeting was scheduled to include a closed session to discuss ongoing and imminent litigation as well as strategy regarding the purchase or sale of real property.
For individuals requiring auxiliary services due to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the city requested notification via the Marriott-Slaterville City Offices at 801.627.1919 at least three business days before the meeting.
