The Alpine School District detailed its various student support services and administrative contacts in an update released July 19, 2026. The information outlines the district's infrastructure for handling student health, crisis intervention, and special education needs within its jurisdiction.
Student Safety and Discipline Leadership
The district maintains a wide array of specialized administrative roles to manage student welfare. Kim Jones serves as the Director of Student Services and acts as the lead for the Crisis Team, 504 team, and Behavior/RTIPD facilitation. Supporting these efforts is Dave Lund, who holds the position of Director of Student Discipline and Safe Schools, overseeing case management, reintegration, and SAFEUT programs.
Prevention and Community Outreach
For family and community engagement, Cassy Saxton serves as the Director of Prevention & Family/Community Engagement. Her department manages community outreach, supervision of school-based therapists, and prevention education focusing on restorative practices and gang prevention. Additionally, the district provides resources for addressing chronic absenteeism through these engagement programs.
