The Summit County Fair will return this August for its annual week-long celebration. Held during the first full week of August, the event features traditional small town attractions such as a carnival midway, beauty queens, and displays of flowers, vegetables, and home canned goods.
While events are held throughout Summit County, Coalville, Utah, serves as the quiet, scenic home base for the fair. Admission to the fair is always free.
The 2026 schedule includes several key highlights and scheduled events.
A demolition derby is set for August 1 at 7:00 p.m. The Little Buckaroo Rodeo will take place on August 4 and 5 starting at 6:00 p.m.
For those interested in professional rodeo, the PRCA Rodeo is scheduled for August 6, 7, and 8 at 8:00 p.m. Additionally, the Junior Livestock Sale will be held on August 8 at 12:00 p.m.
Various opportunities for participation and camping are available during the fair period.
Camping is available from August 3 through August 9, 2026. Food vendors have an application window running from August 1 through August 8, 2026.
