Murray High School student government announced the schedule for Homecoming Week. The week features specific dress-up days and a variety of school activities.
The dress-up schedule includes Pajama Day on Monday and Class Colors Day on Tuesday, where sophomores wear white, juniors wear orange, and seniors wear black. Wednesday is designated as White Lies Day, with the requirement that themes remain school appropriate and non-offensive. Thursday is Twin Day, and Friday is Black Out Day.
Activities for the week include a Murray Trivia Kahoot during both lunches on Tuesday. On Thursday, a performance of One Direction by members of the MOS is scheduled during both lunches. On Friday, a homecoming assembly will be held in the gym at 9:30 am, followed by a tailgate in the south parking lot from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The tailgate features face painting, a photo booth, themed soda bars, and pizza while supplies last. The homecoming game follows at 7:00 pm with a black out theme for the student section. The week concludes with a homecoming dance in the Commons from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on Saturday.
A chalk throw is scheduled for the practice field at 6:45 pm on Friday.
