on July 29, 2026, the Tooele City Police Department’s officers were dispatched to the intersection of 400 North and 100 East after receiving reports of an auto pedestrian accident. According to the statement provided by TCPD’s public information officer, Sgt Colbey Bentley, “It was discovered through the course of the investigation that the male who was hit was crossing the intersection — this intersection is a 4-way stop — when a Chevrolet Silverado did not yield to the pedestrian while the driver was making a left-hand turn.
