According to a probable cause statement drafted by Deputy County Attorney Robert Clegg via information provided by Tooele City PD's Officer Jeremy Watkins, Aaron Clifford had allegedly caused a hit and run on Sept. 5, 2026. Clegg explained Clifford had been hauling a trailer when he struck another vehicle with the trailer and fled the scene.
