Rebecca Hafen was walking along the shoulder near 1808 E. on Tuesday when she was hit, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Doctors performed an emergency delivery in an effort to save her baby boy. The newborn was initially reported to be doing well and was receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
