The Springville Utility Advisory Board scheduled a regular meeting for August 12, 2026, at the Electric Operations Center, according to an agenda published August 10. The meeting will include discussions regarding the Power Department Fuel Factor and the review of fiscal year 2026 end-of-year reports for the Power and Public Works departments.
The Power Department reported that for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, residential energy consumption reached 22,787,557 kWh, compared to 21,547,449 kWh in the same quarter of the previous year. Total residential rate revenue for the fourth quarter was $2,661,883, while the year-to-date residential rate revenue stood at $13,146,524. The average price per kWh for residential customers was $0.1237 in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026.
The Water and PI Division reported that wastewater revenue for the fourth quarter was $136,977, while the annual total for the fiscal year reached $549,646.13. The division also noted that the cost per million gallons increased by 22%, rising from $881 to $1,077. Regarding the Water Reclamation Facility, the division reported no violations during fiscal year 2026.
The Stormwater Division reported that revenues were 3.4% higher than projections for fiscal year 2026. The division completed 255 miles of street sweeping, reaching 43% of its annual goal. Additionally, the division reported that 13,676 total meters were active, with 126 new meters added compared to 123 in the previous fiscal year.
The agenda also included the recognition of a retired Utility Board member scheduled for September 1, 2026. The meeting was set to commence at 6:30 A.M. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Electric Operations Center located at 777 North 425 West, Springville, Utah.
