Tooele City held a Meet the Candidates event to allow residents to hear from City Council candidates. The event was scheduled for October 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Tooele City Hall or via YouTube.
Six candidates ran for three City Council positions during the election cycle. The event provided an opportunity for the community to learn about the candidates before the General Election held on November 21, 2023. Tooele City did not hold a primary election.
The candidates for the City Council positions included Ryan J. Parker, Tony F. Graf, Justin G. Brady, Ed Hansen, Doug Yei, and Melodi M. Gochis. Candidates were required to be United States citizens, at least 18 years old, registered voters of Tooele City, and residents of Tooele City for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election.
The municipal general election was held on November 21, 2023. All candidates for election were subject to financial disclosure requirements.
