The Cache Metropolitan Planning Organization (CMPO) has made its draft 2027-2032 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) available for public comment. The program outlines a programmed listing of transit, bicycle/pedestrian, and state and federal-aid highway projects intended for the Logan Urbanized Area.
The TIP has been determined to be conforming regarding air quality standards for particulate matter 2.5 emission analysis. This means the program was analyzed for emissions of controlled air pollutants and found to satisfy emission level limits established in the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for air quality or interim emission budgets.
The CMPO performs this conformity analysis to submit it to the Federal Transit Administration and the Federal Highway Administration for their concurrence.
The official public comment period for the TIP and the Air Quality Conformity Determination ends on August 4, 2026.
Interested parties can view or receive a copy of the Draft TIP and Conformity Determination at the CMPO office located at 179 N. Main Street, Suite 305, Logan, UT 84321 or via www.cachempo.gov. Written comments may be submitted to the CMPO at the provided office address or via email to jeff.gilbert@cachecounty.gov.
