Plain City and UDOT began work on the 3600 West Reconstruction Hub in July 2026, according to a report published August 28.

Additionally, the Splash Pad at Lee Olsen Park has adjusted its schedule for the 2026 season as part of water conservation efforts. The facility is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is scheduled to close after the Labor Day holiday on Sept. 7, weather permitting.
