The Huntsville Town Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 21. The meeting is set to take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall, located at 7474 E 200 S.
The agenda for the meeting includes a public hearing regarding Ordinance No 2026-9-23. This hearing will address the rezoning of parcels 240180042, 240180015, and 240180004 from C1 to C2. Following the hearing, the commission will discuss or take action regarding a recommendation for the ordinance.
The commission will also consider land use permits for accessory buildings. These include a permit for Sage lot 20, located at 235 S 7900 E (Parcel #21170024), and a permit for Sage lot 17, located at 273 S 7900 E (Parcel #211770017). Additionally, the meeting will feature discussions regarding the RC Zone and proposed changes to the R1 Zone.
Other items on the scheduled agenda include the approval of minutes from the Sept. 23, 2026, meeting, Sandy's TC updates, and public comment. The meeting is expected to conclude by 8:00 p.m. following the chairman's remarks and a motion to adjourn.
