The organization claims the business seeks to ban members of the community from their establishment based on national, ethnic, and ideological lines.

The Federation noted that under the guise of anti-Zionist rhetoric, the business owner is demonizing those who believe in the right of existence of a Jewish state and applying a double standard to Israel and the local community. According to the Federation, these acts have resulted in direct threats against members of the community.
The statement noted that the Anti-Defamation League and the U.S. Department of State recognize that anti-Zionist rhetoric can be used within the context of antisemitic acts. The Federation stated that unchecked bias contributes to a pattern of accepting injustice, violence, and discrimination in society.
