The Salt Lake City Council approved $34.88 million for Fiscal Year 2026-27 Capital Improvement Program projects. The allocation covers 25 projects across the city, ranging from street repairs and traffic safety to park maintenance and improvements.
According to a notice posted to the city's website, the council also discussed topics such as rezoning proposals, affordable housing, and diversified response programs during a meeting on August 25, 2026.
In a separate action on June 16, 2026, the Salt Lake City Council adopted a $2.1 billion Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget. The spending plan focused on essential services, public safety, neighborhood infrastructure, and financial stewardship.
Additionally, Salt Lake City Public Utilities has proposed updates to the city's stormwater, sewer, and water impact fees.
In a previous action on August 18, the council allocated $34.88 million of Fiscal Year 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program funding to 25 projects throughout the city.
