Independence High School is preparing for its upcoming Spring Campout and Expedition, taking place from April 22 to April 24. This year's excursion will visit Sand Hollow and the Red Cliffs in the St. George area.
The school will provide food and camping equipment for the trip, though students are responsible for bringing their own clothing and personal items. While there is no other cost for the activity, students may choose to bring money for snacks from gas stations.
Permission slips and additional details can be obtained through the school office.
School standards remain in effect during the campout. The school stated that weapons, fireworks, and other prohibited items are not allowed during the event.
