The Utah County Board of Commissioners scheduled a public hearing for September 23, 2026, to address several budgetary matters, according to a September 4 notice.
The meeting is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Utah County Administration Building located in Provo.
The hearing will focus on amending budgets for the County's general fund and various other budgetary funds. According to the notice, officials will also consider revisions to the County's estimates of revenues and revisions to budget appropriations for county departments.
Additionally, the Board may consider transferring unencumbered or unexpected appropriation balances from one department to another within the same fund. Following the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners may proceed with amending the 2026 County general fund budget and other budgetary funds, revising revenue estimates, adjusting department appropriations, or transferring appropriation balances.
