Southern Utah University is expanding its academic offerings with the launch of a new Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales. Scheduled for fall 2026, the degree aims to provide students with hands-on training to prepare them for high-impact careers.
In addition to the new degree, the university is launching a flexible 7-week Salesforce Sales Foundations course. This course is scheduled to start Sept. 14 to help students and professionals develop career-ready skills.
Other recent institutional developments include SUU earning a Gold Level designation from Exercise is Medicine for its campus wellness culture. This designation makes the university one of only 193 recognized institutions worldwide.
The university also received a $46,000 grant from the USTA for a major resurfacing project of the SUU tennis courts. Additionally, SUU has been selected as an official Peace Corps Prep university.
Southern Utah University continues to report significant enrollment trends, with the student population reaching 15,825.
The university has also engaged in various community and academic partnerships, including collaborations to advance rural higher education and strengthen STEM programs.
