The Lewiston City Council was scheduled to hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, according to a Sept. 14 notice. The meeting was set to take place at the Lewiston City Club Room located at 29 South Main Street.
The agenda for the meeting included several administrative and legislative items. Council members were scheduled to provide reports covering various departments such as Fire, Roads, Youth Council, Garbage, Library, Water, Animal Control, Mosquito Abatement, Theatre, Planning and Zoning, Sewer, Cemetery, CERT/Emergency Preparation, Events Council, and Parks and Recreation.
Additional items on the agenda included a discussion and vote to add Shannon Bair to the Library Board. The council was also scheduled to consider the possible approval of declaring two broken mowers and one broken sweeper as surplus property. Furthermore, the council was set to discuss city legal representation and the possible consideration of alternative legal services.
The Mayor's report was scheduled to include updates on the City Party and Fire Station Open House, the utility billing system transition, road damage on 2000 South, and an update from the Cache Fire Protection District. The next City Council meeting was scheduled for Oct. 20, 2026.
