The Murray City School District Board of Education has announced a regular session meeting to be held on October 2, 2025. The meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the District Office boardroom located at 5102 S Commerce Drive, Building 1, in Murray, Utah.
The meeting agenda includes a consent agenda featuring several items for reading and approval. These include the second readings of policies regarding student progress, Murray High School graduation requirements, student drug testing, and policies on bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, hazing, abusive conduct, and retaliation. The third reading of policy PS 418 is also scheduled.
Various delegations are expected to participate in the session, including representatives from Horizon Elementary PTA, the Murray Education Association, the Murray Association of Administrators, the Murray Education Support Professionals Association, and the Murray Education Foundation.
Staff reports for the meeting will include a status update on bond projects from Director Taggart, as well as presentations from Director Eschler regarding packets for credit and HB 191 summary. Director Dean is scheduled to present on LEA specific licenses, requests for leave of absence, and positive behavior support plans.
The Superintendent will lead discussions regarding School Community Council Annual School Board Training and program planning. A closed session is also planned to address personnel, property, and legal matters.
