Washington County has issued a notice regarding the ballot processing schedule for the November 3, 2026, general election. This notice was provided in accordance with Utah Code 20A-3a-807.
Ballot processing is scheduled to occur at the Washington County Administration Building, located at 111 East Tabernacle Street, St. George, UT, 84770. The schedule for processing spans from October 19 through November 16, with hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm as needed based on volume.
Processing activities include signature verification, opening ballots, scanning, adjudicating, replicating damaged ballots, and tabulating votes. While November 11 is an observed holiday, processing may occur on holidays if the volume of received ballots requires it. On Election Day, processing hours will extend until polls close and preliminary results are available.
Interested parties are encouraged to call the Washington County Clerk’s office to verify if processing is occurring before attending. Upon arrival, individuals are required to check in with the Washington County Clerk’s office.
