The Washington Land Use Authority scheduled a public hearing for the consideration of a preliminary plat for Sunrise Valley Industrial Park Phase 6. According to a notice on the city's website, the meeting was intended to address an application from Red Waters Industrial Development regarding the area near Smelter Drive and Foundry Drive.
The meeting was scheduled to be hosted at Washington City Hall, located at 111 North 100 East, Washington, Utah. A broadcast of the proceedings was to be available via YouTube Live at the city's meeting website.
Public comment for the topic was to be available through the Items Available for Public Comment portal on the city's website. The portal was scheduled to open the Friday before the meeting and remain available until 5:00 p.m. on the day preceding the meeting. Residents were permitted to attend the meeting either in person or virtually.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Washington City stated it would make reasonable accommodations for meeting participation. Requests for assistance could be made by calling the Community Development Department at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
