Mason Falslev and Dallin Hall have each been named to the Pac-12 Preseason Impact Players List ahead of Utah State's inaugural season as a member of the Pac-12 Conference, according to an October 29 statement.
The Aggies were also picked to finish second in the league's preseason media poll, trailing only unanimous favorite Gonzaga.
Falslev, a senior from Benson, Utah, enters the season as the reigning Mountain West Player of the Year following his 2025-26 campaign. Last year, he averaged 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game, earning all-conference recognition for the second consecutive year and a CSC Academic All-American designation.
Throughout his career, Falslev has recorded 1,469 points, 570 rebounds, 317 assists and 192 steals across 104 games. He was also recently included on the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List.
Dallin Hall joins the Aggies as a graduate transfer from Plain City, Utah, following stints at BYU and Virginia. During the 2025-26 season at Virginia, Hall led the Cavaliers in minutes played, starting all 36 games and helping the team reach the ACC runner-up finish.
While at Virginia, Hall led the conference with a 3.27 assist-to-turnover ratio, totaling 157 assists and 48 turnovers. Previously at BYU, he made 61 starts over three seasons, including a trip to the 2023-24 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, where he earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors after averaging 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.
The Pac-12 preseason media poll placed San Diego State third, followed by Colorado State, Oregon State, Boise State, Texas State, Washington State and Fresno State.
Utah State has exceeded its preseason projection in seven of the last nine seasons. This includes last year in the Mountain West, when the team was picked second and won the league title outright.
Utah State will host Idaho State on Monday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum to officially open the 2026-27 season. The game is scheduled to be streamed for free on the Pac-12's YouTube page.
