The Pleasant Grove City Council is scheduled to hold a work session at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. According to a September 11 notice, the work session will include discussions regarding swimming pool finances and secondary water rates.
The regular meeting includes several items for public hearing. One hearing will consider Ordinance 2026-028 for a zone change on approximately 1.03 acres at 980 West 1800 North, requested by Braxton Rapp. A second hearing will consider Ordinance 2026-029 for a vicinity plan amendment on approximately 4 acres at 152 North 1400 East, requested by Daniel Judd Wray. Both presentations are expected from Director Cárdenas.
Additional action items for the meeting include awarding a contract to S&L Inc. for the Pleasant Grove Library Landscape and Pavilion Project, with an amount not to exceed $406,922.68. The council will also consider Resolution 2026-042 to amend personnel policies to change the title of maternity leave to parental leave to include both birthing and non-birthing parents. Other resolutions include a plan to reimburse the city from tax-exempt financing for capital improvements and an interlocal agreement with Utah County and PG Cares Communities That Care for a drug prevention grant.
The meeting will take place in the Community Room at 108 S 100 E. The notice stated that work sessions are not intended for public comment or official action, though the public is invited to attend.
