Lincoln Academy announced a variety of upcoming school activities and fundraising initiatives in a report published September 8.
The school is currently seeking classroom sponsors to assist teachers and specialty classrooms with funding for field trips, educational magazines, and classroom materials.
Each classroom requires approximately $500 in sponsorship support, though partial donations are accepted from families and businesses.
Several athletic and school events are scheduled for the week of September 8. A 6th grade parent meeting was scheduled for September 8 at 7:00 PM. Other upcoming activities include girls volleyball, boys soccer, and cross country races scheduled for September 9, September 14, and September 16.
A vision screening was scheduled for September 14 from 8:15 AM to 10:30 AM. The school partners with Friends for Sight to provide these free screenings for students in kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade, 7th grade, 9th grade, and all students receiving special education services.
Yearbook sales are currently open with tiered pricing. Yearbooks are $40 through Christmas Break, $45 through Valentine's Day, and $50 thereafter until sold out.
The Lincoln Academy Fall Festival is scheduled for September 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the school backyard. This fundraiser aims to raise money for new junior high sports uniforms, a new gym projector, and a new elementary playground climbing structure.
Wristbands for the event are available for purchase, with online sales ending at midnight on September 17. At the door, wristbands cost $20 per person. Volunteers who complete three hours of service receive a free wristband, while those who volunteer one or two hours receive five or ten carnival game tickets, respectively.
