Lincoln Academy released an update on August 31 detailing upcoming school activities and several ways for families and businesses to support the institution. The announcement highlighted upcoming athletic games, school assemblies, and new opportunities for classroom sponsorship.
The school is seeking classroom sponsors for all teachers and specialty classrooms to fund hands-on learning experiences, field trips, educational magazines, and other materials. Each classroom requires approximately $500 in sponsorship support, though partial donations are accepted. In exchange for support, family or business logos will be displayed on school TVs. Interested parties can contact finance@lincoln-academy.org.
Scheduled activities include girls volleyball and boys soccer games on August 31 and September 2. An elementary assembly was scheduled for September 1 at 8:30 AM, followed by a junior high assembly at 10:00 AM. Additional athletic events include a cross country race on September 2 and September 9, and soccer and volleyball games on September 9.
School spirit wear preorders are currently open with limited-time preorder pricing. Additionally, yearbook sales have officially opened. Pricing for yearbooks is $40 through Christmas Break, $45 through Valentine’s Day, and $50 after that until they are sold out.
According to the school, there will be no school on September 7. A parent meeting for 6th grade is scheduled for September 8 at 7:00 PM.
