The Pleasant Grove Beautification & Shade Tree Advisory Commission met at City Hall on September 10, 2026, to address community development and beautification topics, according to a notice published September 10.
The meeting agenda included the approval of minutes from the August meeting and a treasurer's report. A report from the Parks and Recreation department was also scheduled to cover a water report.
Discussions regarding the Yard of the Month program included a request to bring in physical paper from recipients and a call for citizen nominations to be sent to Brett for announcement via newsletter and social media. The commission also planned for 2027 awards and discussed a fall/winter dinner for the parks department.
The commission also noted an upcoming class regarding Water Wise plantings for sun, shade, and in-between, which was scheduled for September 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the library. The next commission meeting is scheduled for October 8 at 7:00 p.m.
