A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed Tuesday night in front of the Salt Lake City Justice Courts building, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Details of the stabbing incident
The incident occurred around 11:16 p.m. at 333 S. 200 East, Sgt. Kevin Blue said. A bystander discovered the victim and provided aid before calling 911, as the man did not have a cellphone to request help.
Police search for unidentified suspect
Police used drones and canines in an attempt to locate the suspect but were unable to find them, Blue reported. The suspect is described as a white adult male, possibly in his late 40s, with short dark hair and wearing a flannel shirt.
British runner's marathon mission
In unrelated news, 23-year-old British runner Henry Moores recently passed through Salt Lake City as part of an ambitious journey to run marathons in all 50 states. KSLTV reported that the mission aims to raise awareness for a children's cancer charity in England.

Moores noted that he did not train specifically for the challenge and experienced significant physical pain during the first few days of the trip. He said his goal is to remain relatable by showing that anyone can attempt such a feat.
