PHS Singers Represent at All-State Choir
Each year, four PHS singers represent our school in the All-State
Choir, joining more than 500 singers from across Utah.
This year's representatives are:
Brooke Jensen — Soprano
Brenna Gilliland — Alto
Nick Leite — Tenor
Henry Vigue — Bass
The students dedicated extra time to learning music and spent hours
rehearsing with guest conductor Dr. Michael Huff from Snow College.
Their hard work culminated in a concert at the Salt Lake Tabernacle
last Saturday.
Congratulations to these four outstanding singers on an impressive
performance!
Coro Latino Performs at International Festival
Coro Latino, now in its second year at PHS, was invited to perform
at I Was Born in This Country, an international festival
sponsored by Nuestras Raices.
Held last Saturday at the Sorenson Unity Center in Salt Lake City,
the event celebrated the music, dance, and cultures of countries
from around the world. Coro Latino proudly represented PHS and
contributed to this celebration of cultural diversity through music.
Congratulations to Coro Latino on this wonderful opportunity!
Fall Choir Concert: “This Is Home”
The PHS choirs presented their first concert of the school year,
This Is Home, bringing together all five PHS choirs and
an adult community choir for an evening of music.
We are incredibly proud of all the students and performers for
their dedication, teamwork, and musical accomplishments.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this a memorable
week for our choir program!
Go PHS!
