Regional Literacy Night Details
The Regional Literacy Night is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th, from 5:30pm to 7:45pm. This event is open to families from Davis and neighboring counties and does not require registration.
Event Features and Benefits
Families attending the free event can access dinner, literacy workshops, childcare while parents attend classes, sessions available in both English and Spanish, prizes including cash prizes, and free books. The event aims to provide families with practical methods for supporting reading at home.
Student Council Application Information
For current 4th and 5th grade students, applications for the 2026-2027 Student Council and Hope Squad will open beginning April 16th. Additional information regarding application details is expected to be shared on Thursday.
Campus Safety Reminders
The school issued reminders regarding arrival and dismissal safety as warmer weather leads to more students bringing bikes, scooters, and skateboards to campus. Students are not permitted to ride these items on school property and must walk them at all times while on campus.
Testing Season and Parking Caution
Additionally, the school noted that testing season is underway, encouraging families to ensure students arrive on time and well rested. Families are also asked to use extra caution in parking lots and school entrances during arrival and dismissal periods.
There will be no school on Friday, April 24th, with students expected to return on Monday, April 27th.
