The South Ogden Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a work session and a meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026, according to a September 9 notice.
The sessions will take place at South Ogden City Hall, located at 3950 Adams Ave., in the city council chambers.
The work session is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 7:30 p.m. According to the notice, discussion during the work session is for clarification only and no action will be taken on any items discussed.
Agenda items for the work session include a recap of the APA Fall Conference, a review of possible changes to the carport code (10-14-22), and a review of possible changes to the definition of Frontage (10-2-1). Chair Brittany Rocha is listed to call the work session to order.
Following the work session, the Planning Commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. The meeting will include discussion on City Center Plan Recommendations and moderate-income housing strategies and timelines. The agenda also includes the approval of minutes from the August 13, 2026, Planning Commission meeting and a staff report regarding short-term rental continuation.
