CMS students participated in a variety of academic and creative activities during the past week, according to a September 3 report. The activities included school photos, science lessons, and creative writing projects.
During the week, students attended picture day for their school photos. In science class, students worked with Mrs. Neeley to master scientific terms related to Newton’s First Law of Motion using a Kahoot game.
In an introductory technology course, Mr. Barnett's students worked on creating children's books designed to teach five different uses of technology. These projects allow students to demonstrate technology knowledge while making information accessible for younger learners.
In music, students under the direction of Mrs. Williams rehearsed new pieces in preparation for an upcoming concert. Additionally, Mrs. Stoddard's students practiced storytelling skills by crafting narratives regarding fictional Bigfoot encounters, incorporating elements such as who, what, when, where, and why.
The various classroom activities highlighted the diverse curriculum and creative engagement at CMS.
