The seal coat project in Eagle Mountain City is entering its second week, according to a September 3 statement. Road closures will be implemented in various areas to assist in the timely completion of seal coat maintenance.
Each road closure is expected to last for one day from 7 AM to approximately 9 PM. Residents located within a closure area will receive two notices, consisting of a one-week notice and a notice sent 24 to 48 hours before the closure.
This road work preservation is intended to protect pavement and extend its useful life. Officials will communicate with the school district to adjust bus routes as needed.
The completion of seal coat projects is anticipated for September 25, 2026, weather permitting. Maps outlining affected areas during the week of September 7, 2026, have been provided to assist the community.
