The Provo Municipal Council scheduled a work meeting for Tuesday, September 8, 2026, according to a September 2 notice. The meeting is set to take place from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Provo Peaks Conference Room located at 445 W. Center Street, Provo, UT 84601.
The agenda for the meeting includes a presentation regarding the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) public hearing. Additionally, the council will consider a resolution to support a 2026 Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Grant application to fund park improvements for the Epic Regional Sports Park. Another resolution involves appropriating $330,000 for Fort Utah Park improvements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
The council is also scheduled to consider several ordinances. These include amendments to zone map classifications for real property on N. Geneva Road and N. Canyon Road, as well as an ordinance to repeal and replace Provo City Code Title 14. An ordinance regarding outdoor lighting standards exemptions is also on the agenda.
The meeting will be available via live broadcast on YouTube and Facebook. The council may also enter a closed meeting to discuss matters including pending litigation, real property transactions, or personnel issues in accordance with Utah Code.
