The Murray City Municipal Council scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to discuss property tax impacts and fiscal year budgets, according to a notice published August 10.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Murray City Council Chambers at Murray City Hall, located at 10 East 4800 South. Adam Hock is scheduled to conduct the meeting.
Public hearings are scheduled to include a presentation by Brenda Moore regarding the property tax impact schedule, which includes a tax levy rate exceeding the certified tax rate. Additionally, the Council will consider ordinances to adopt tax levy rates for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, as well as the final 2026-2027 fiscal year budgets for Murray City and the Library Fund.

Residents wishing to submit written comments may email city.council@murray.utah.gov with their name and address, though comments are limited to three minutes or approximately 300 words.
