Panguitch City is requesting bids for a pre-engineered metal building package, according to a September 2 statement. The request seeks a supplier to furnish and deliver a complete building package that meets specific structural and insulation requirements.
The project includes a main building measuring 60 feet wide by 90 feet long with a 16-foot eave height and a 3:12 symmetrical gable roof. An attached lean-to, measuring 24 feet wide by 90 feet long, is also required. The building is intended for installation on a concrete stem wall to be constructed separately by the city or its contractor.
Minimum requirements for the project include a pre-engineered structural steel building system with 26-gauge painted steel roof and wall panels. The package must include matching exterior trim, flashing, closures, and fasteners, as well as painted steel gutters and downspouts. Insulation requirements specify a rating of R-25 or better for walls and R-30 or better for the roof.
Bids must be submitted via email to Mat Houston by 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on September 18, 2026. While the building supplier must provide the structural framing and reinforcement for door openings, the overhead doors, personnel doors, hardware, and operators will be purchased separately by Panguitch City. Building erection is not included in the base bid, though bidders may provide a separate estimate for erection services and insulation installation.
Panguitch City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the city. Bidders must provide a lump-sum price along with manufacturer specifications, an estimated delivery schedule, and a list of exclusions.
