Southern Utah University’s Department of Music invited high school orchestras, ensembles, and their directors to participate in the 2024 SUU High School Honor Orchestra Festival. The event took place in Cedar City, Utah, under the direction of Dr. Xun Sun.
The festival was held at the Heritage Center Theater in Cedar City. Participation required a fee of $20 per student. According to the festival information, no audition was required for participants, who were instructed to register using a QR code and download practice sheet music.
Dr. Xun Sun, the Director of Orchestral Activities at Southern Utah University, served as the director for the event.
