East Midvale Elementary has released a series of announcements regarding school activities, staff recognition, and upcoming community events in Midvale.
According to an undated notice on the school's website, the school has highlighted several milestones and upcoming dates for students and parents.
The school recently recognized librarian Ms. Erickson for her long-time service and recent pursuit of master level classes. Additionally, the school celebrated the first week of school, which included a red carpet welcome for students in grades 1 through 5 featuring guests from Real Salt Lake.
Other recent school activities included the Zions Bank Paint A Thon service project and year-end celebrations for the 2025-2026 school year, which featured graduations for preschool and kindergarten students.
Upcoming scheduled events include a free grocery distribution on Tuesday, September 8, and the UWSL Day of Caring on Friday, September 11. Other planned activities include a food pantry at St. James Episcopal Church on Sunday, September 13, and Constitution Day on Thursday, September 17.
Scheduled for later in the month are a PTA Scholastic Book Fair and parent-teacher conferences occurring on Monday, September 21, and Wednesday, September 23.
East Midvale Elementary is located at 6990 S. 300 East, Midvale, UT 84047. The school office maintains hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
