Lehi Junior High School has received recognition for its efforts regarding youth inclusion and mental health awareness. The Family Council of Utah, a statewide advocacy group for families and youth, presented an award to three individuals from the school on Wednesday, February 13.
The school has previously engaged in community mental health initiatives, such as hosting a parent night featuring The National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Additionally, the school has participated in student recognition programs, including instances where students were identified as being Good Humans. The ASD Foundation has also supported students at Lehi Junior High School and Willowcreek Middle School by providing gifts for summertime learning.
