Cedar City has announced several upcoming public hearings for the Planning Commission and the City Council. According to a September 4, 2026, statement, these meetings will address various zoning changes and fiscal year budget amendments.
The Cedar City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Cedar City Council Chambers at 10 N. Main Street. Items for consideration include several zone changes and a General Plan Amendment for properties located at 226 North 3325 West, north of South Mountain Drive between Westview Drive and 3500 West, and the southeast corner of South Mountain Drive and Westview Drive.
Additionally, the Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its September 16, 2026, City Council Work Meeting. This meeting, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, will consider a resolution to approve budget amendments for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
