A campus learning centers open house was scheduled for September 9, 2026, according to an undated notice on the Southern Utah University events site. The event was organized by the Writing Center and the Communication Department.
The open house was set to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MDT. Locations associated with the event included the Tutoring Center, Writing Center, Public Speaking Center, ELC 204, BC 101, and BC 204.
Previous academic events hosted by the Writing Center included the Scriblerian Essay contest, Pizza for Papers, and several workshops covering topics such as sentence structure, essay organization, and incorporating sources. Other past events included a Writing Center Workshops survey and various sessions held in the BC 101 Computer Lab.
