A community car seat check event is scheduled for May 20th at Murdock Chevrolet. The initiative, a partnership between the Bear River Health Department, Murdock Chevrolet, and the Murdock Family Foundation, focuses on ensuring children are properly secured in vehicle restraints.
Through a significant donation of car seats from the Murdock Family Foundation, local experts will work to distribute life-saving equipment directly to families.
The event will take place at 1955 North Main from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During the session, trained technicians will perform a total complete checklist for participants.
The process typically takes between 20 to 30 minutes. Technicians will verify that parents have the correct restraint for their specific child and ensure it is properly integrated into their particular vehicle.
To keep the event organized and ensure specific questions can be answered, individuals are asked to call 435-792-6500 to schedule an appointment.
