Newly appointed Council member Jeremy Peterson was sworn into office as the At Large Seat C representative of the Ogden City Council. The induction ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 4, inside the Council Chambers.
Following the oath of office, Peterson stated that he is grateful to be part of the body and looks forward to being a force for moving the city forward in good ways. He noted that there is a good group of people on the council and expressed anticipation for what is to come.
Council Chair Rich Hyer welcomed Peterson to the council, noting that Peterson appears to be a collaborative individual.
Peterson was appointed by the Ogden City Council to fill the midterm vacancy created by the resignation of former Council member Shaun Myers.
