The Southern Utah University Career Center scheduled a Part-Time and Campus Job Fair for Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The event is held each semester to assist students seeking employment while attending the university.
The fair will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MDT in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Ballroom. According to the Career Center, the event provides an opportunity for students to present themselves professionally to potential employers and showcase communication skills.
Attendees are encouraged to prepare by researching participating employers through Handshake and reviewing career fair etiquette. The Career Center also offers resume reviews and provides guidance on professional attire, including information on how to receive funds for professional clothing.
To prepare for the fair, the Career Center recommends that students prepare a 30-second introduction, wear business professional clothing, and bring multiple copies of their resumes. Students are also advised to ask for business cards to facilitate follow-up thank you notes and to update their LinkedIn accounts.
