Bank of Utah has released a message of gratitude to its clients, reflecting on community service achievements in 2025 and outlining expansion plans for 2026. In an undated notice on the bank's website, President Branden P Hansen highlighted the organization's commitment to building up Utah through various charitable initiatives.
During 2025, more than 300 employees volunteered over 1,900 service hours across the state. These volunteers worked with more than 100 organizations focused on education, family needs, food security, and housing. Activities included serving on boards and chambers, participating in holiday giving, and assembling hygiene kits for local high school teens.
The bank's community efforts included the statewide Where’s the Wallet Cash Quest, which resulted in a $10,000 donation to the Utah Kids Foundation. Additionally, the PGA TOUR’s Bank of Utah Championship at Black Desert Resort provided $150,000 in funding for Teen Centers and helped launch a new financial literacy program developed with The Policy Project. During this event, 45 volunteers from the bank and the PGA TOUR Wives Association assembled over 1,000 hygiene kits.
Looking toward 2026, Bank of Utah is preparing for steady growth across its markets. Planned developments include new Utah County branches in Spanish Fork and Lehi, as well as the construction of a new building in St. George. The bank also intends to focus on digital tool enhancements, including emerging digital asset services and its credit card offering.
