The Spanish Fork Arts Council hosts the Harvest Moon Hurrah, a free and family-friendly community celebration held at City Park. The event offers residents a chance to enjoy local arts, entertainment, and community activities.
According to a notice on the Spanish Fork city website, the event features live music, children's activities, an arts and crafts fair, a community art show, and food trucks.
Scheduled musical performances include the Spanish Fork Chorale and Monkey Friday. Children's activities, which include crafts, games, face painting, storytelling, a photobooth, and giant paint-it-yourself murals, are available from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Local artists can showcase, sell, and promote their work during the Arts & Crafts Fair from 5 to 8 p.m. Additionally, artists of all ages may participate in the community art show by submitting a visual art piece no larger than 9 by 12 inches.
The event is supported by the City Council, Parks & Recreation, and the RAP Tax Grant. The Arts Council and volunteers assist in hosting the celebration. Inquiries regarding joining the Arts Council can be sent to artscouncil@spanishfork.gov.
