The Wings and Wheels event in Spanish Fork includes a variety of activities ranging from an airshow to a car show, according to a notice on the city's website.
Gates for the event open at 9:00 AM and the event concludes at 4:00 PM.
All-day activities available throughout the event include a static aircraft display and tours, a car show, food trucks and vendors, and autocross.
Other activities include helicopter rides, which may be subject to additional restrictions, availability, or fees, and free kids train rides. The event also features vintage WWII vehicle displays.
Flying for the airshow begins at 10:00 AM. The scheduled flight demonstrations include the Harmon Rocket Formation, AirCam Demonstration, and skydivers with the National Anthem. Other scheduled segments include demonstrations by Brad Wursten, Undaunted Airshows, Citation flybys, and the Vampire Demonstration. Additional flying includes the PBJ Mitchell and A6M Zero flybys, CJ6-A Demonstration, Karl Gashler, Bob Carlton, and TBM Avenger Demonstration.
In addition to flight demonstrations, the schedule includes a car vs. plane race and flybys for the T6, Privateer, and Microjet.
The airshow schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, aircraft availability, FAA requirements, Air Boss direction, operational requirements, or other event-related factors, according to the city's website.
Warbird rides require an appointment. The airport is closed to the general public outside of official event hours on Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
