Four residents in Magna are displaced after a house fire caused extensive damage to a single-family home on Monday evening.
Unified Fire Authority reported that multiple callers alerted authorities to smoke at approximately 7:15 p.m. near 3100 S. 8950 West.
Upon arriving at the scene, fire crews found flames and began evacuating both residents and their pets.
Eyewitnesses told ABC4.com that road closures were implemented in the area during the incident.
While the Unified Fire Authority successfully extinguished the flames, one cat remains unaccounted for.
The Unified Fire Authority is now conducting an investigation into what caused the fire.
