The 4th of July Celebration took place at Greater Zion Stadium on the campus of Utah Tech University, featuring a performance by country artist Russell Dickerson. The event, which included a patriotic pre-show and fireworks from the City of St. George, offered attendees a chance to experience music and holiday festivities.
The celebration schedule included gates opening at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Patriotic Pre-show at 7:00 p.m., the Russell Dickerson concert at 8:00 p.m., and a fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.
The event was brought to the community by several sponsors, including Intermountain Health, The Lifetime Store, Cache Valley Bank, Ram Aviation, Space & Defense, Big O Tires, SkyWest Airlines, Stout Roofing Inc., Findlay Hyundai St. George, Desert Pain Specialists, Minky Couture, The Gold Ore Store, The Plastics Clinic, and 99.9 KONY Country.
A Tribute to America from United We Pledge was also part of the festivities.
Greater Zion Stadium operated as a clear bag facility for the celebration. Attendees were asked to follow a clear bag policy and adhere to specific stadium regulations.
Prohibited items included outside food or drink, coolers, umbrellas, lawn chairs, wagons, strollers, pets, and professional cameras or video equipment. Additionally, alcohol, tobacco, gum, sunflower seeds, and weapons of any kind were prohibited. While pre-sealed water bottles and empty hydration bottles like Stanleys or Hydroflasks were permitted, no liquids were allowed in them at the time of entry.
For the event, all Utah Tech parking lots were available for free use by the public. According to capacity rules, every person attending the celebration, including infants and children, was required to have a ticket.
